Save Sydney Park - Adopt a Tree Launch

The Save Sydney Park: Adopt a Tree Picnic and Launch is on this Sunday at the Sydney Park Camp which has been in operation 24/7 for over two months since Sept 19 protecting trees in Sydney Park.

This project allows you to adopt one of the hundreds of trees that are slated to be destroyed by WestConnex and to stand up against this proposed eco-vandalism.

Send a message to the Baird Government and WestConnex that you value Sydney Park and its trees and will fight to protect them.

  • Free music from InêsBetsy McCabe, Ecopella and more
  • A photographic exhibition by the award-winning Lorrie Graham
  • Sausage sizzle, cake stall and more (you can BYO picnic too)
  • Speeches by City of Sydney councillor and Newtown MP Jenny Leong
  • Your chance to Adopt a Tree to help #SaveSydneyPark

By coming along, you'll help raise awareness about Premier Mike Baird's plan to destroy hundreds of trees and take 14,000m2 of Sydney Park for WestCONnex, and dump over 60,000 extra cars on the surrounding streets.
